He has been involved in brand business development for the food magazine "dan-cyu", launching e-commerce sites and alliances. In 2014, he founded the "Onigiri Association" to promote Japan's rice food culture and appeared at Expo Milano in 2015. In 2017, he started his own rice-cen-tered food production business to boost Japanese rice consumption and value. He operates onigiri specialty restaurants in Harajuku and Akihabara, supports PR for new rice varieties, and is part of JR East's Shinkansen "Grand Class" meal team. In 2019, he took over a Tokyo bento plant, renaming it Tokyo Bento Labo, Inc. in 2020. In 2022, he joined Agrico Inc., established the Japan Food Research Institute, LLC, and joined the Frozen Economy Association, focusing on "frozen products x rice."
